Gongora leucochila

part of the
University of Washington Department of Biology's collection of Orchids.
It is my latest painting and will be
part of the exhibit at the
AOS Headquarters from November 26th through December 30th of 2007
It was listed as a Gongora Species.
I needed help identifying this particular species.
I went to the "experts" on the
www.orchidguide.com website and asked for help
identifying the species and Marc Hachadourian at the New York
Botanical Gardens made the identification from the website:
